Hi Team,

    Have you been watching the Olympics, some pretty exciting skiing to watch. That Nordic Combined race with the USA taking a Silver was exciting !!!!

    Team XCHQ again had some great participation and results at the Vasa and Gran Traverse races this past weekend. The XCHQ Women were on fire again, Debbie Mizikowski taking 3rd, woman overall in the 50K freestyle and Cheryl Darnton taking 3rd. woman overall in the 27K freesyle at the Vasa Races. XCHQ had many age group winners as well in both the Vasa and Gran Traverse races. Congratulations to everyone who raced, great team effort !!! 

    This weekend will be some great racing again at Hanson Hills. With the Cote Dame Marie Loppet ( formerly the MiCup Marathon ) and the Hanson Hills Classic this weekend Feb. 20-21st.

    For the Juniors are the Mi.High School Championships, all the races this weekend earn Mi.Cup points with the high school championship races earning the Junior points.

    Just waiting for Ken to tally up the team points, I have sent to Ken XCHQ roster corrections on members not listed on our team. My unofficial bean counters tell me we are quite high in the standings !!! You guy’s and gal’s have been doing a FANTASTIC job this season !!!!!!!!!!
