Hi Team,

Before I begin, I would like to thank the Team for the wonderful XCHQ Team vest / jacket that was presented to me this last weekend, supposedly for all I do for the Team. Well, you all deserve a gift for all that you do as a TEAM, with great participation and dedication when it counts, on and off the race course. Just one of the reasons I don’t mind investing the time I do.  

       I knew I would omit someone, that’s why I’m hesitant to mention names when speaking of awards. I apologize to Jim Samuels who comes all the way to Michigan from Pennsylvania to race the Vasa. Well Jim was 2nd. in his age group and 8th. overall in the 50K freestyle !!!  If I missed any others, my apologies likewise.

    This last weekend at the Cote Dame Marie and Hanson Classic races, XCHQ again was well represented. Many age group awards were earned by team members. Great job to all who participated

    No Mi. Cup points races this weekend except for the Juniors at the Muffin Race at Cross Country Ski Headquarters on Sunday.  Good luck to all our Junior Racers and all those doing the Birkie this weekend. Keep up the great work, see you at the races. GO TEAM !!!!!!!!!!!!   Frank
