Today Cross Country Ski Headquarters will host the Michigan Cup Relays. The Race will start at 11AM and incorporate all or parts of the following trails: Rolling Hills, Adventure, Trapper’s Cabin, Mackinac Cut, Wild Turkey and Tall Pines. The race usually takes 1 & 1/2 to 2 hours.
Non Racers are asked to give the right of way to racers and ski mainly on the Manitou Trail past Trapper’s Cabin and the Blizzard trail until the race is over.
Fresh tracks were set on the Race course last night and Groomer Stu will start Ginzu snowcombing the skating lanes of the race course at dawn this morning.
The Mackinac Cut, Wild Turkey, Rolling Hills, Tall Pines, Trapper’s Cabin, Manitou, Adventure and Blizzard trails all have wet spring conditions for classic and skate skiing.
