Ski Report – Thursday, December 13th, 2012

We had a great day of skiing yesterday. Things started to soften a bit  later in the day, but the cold temps last night ensure great skiing this morning and throughout the day. Even though we have not set tracks yet, all trials are snowcombed and the conditions are very good classic and skate skiing.
Thursday: Partly cloudy in the morning, then overcast. High of 39F with a windchill as low as 19F. Winds from the SSW at 10 to 15 mph.
Thursday Night: Partly cloudy. Low of 28F. Winds from the WSW at 5 to 15 mph.
Friday Overcast. High of 39F. Winds less than 5 mph.
Friday Night: Overcast in the evening, then partly cloudy. Fog overnight. Low of 25F. Winds from the ESE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 20%.
Saturday: High of 34F with a windchill as low as 21F. Winds from the ESE at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of snow 70% with accumulations up to 2 inches possible.
Saturday Night: Overcast with snow, then a chance of snow and a chance of rain after midnight. Low of 32F with a windchill as low as 25F. Winds from the SE at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of snow 70% with accumulations up  to 1 inch possible.
Sunday: Overcast with a chance of snow and rain showers in the afternoon. Fog early. High of 36F with a windchill as low as 27F. Winds from the SSW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of snow 40%.
Snow Depth in Woods: 4-6 inches
Packed Snow Depth on Trails: 2-3
Ice, Glaze, Barespots: There are a few thin spots under big pines.
