Cross Country Ski Report – Thursday, January 10th

More snow is here!! We received about 4-5 inches of snow in the last 36 hours, which has set up nicely on top of our base. It continues to snow, and Groomers Mike and Bob are Ginzu snow-combing the skate lanes and setting classic tracks this morning. We expect great, mid-winter conditions on all trails for classic and skating by 11am this morning! With the pleasantly cold temps in the forecast, conditions should stay great for the foreseeable future! If you haven’t planned your trip north to ski this weekend yet, click here to get started.

Skate lanes are turning out great this morning!

Today’s Stone Turtle Yoga lunch special is the Classic Hammy Sammy! Sliced honey baked ham, Swiss cheese, tomato, and stone ground mustard on a Swiss bun, grilled to melty perfection. Served with Great Lakes Chips and a pickle!

Now that conditions are so good, it’s time to take some demo skis out on the trails! Try some new skate or classic skis from Fischer, Salomon, Rossignol, Alpina and Atomic, free of charge. All skis, boots and ski packages are on sale!!

Join us this weekend for some great events! Our weekly Free Ski Lesson is Saturday at 10:30am, followed by Fire Grilled Pizzas on the sun deck from noon to 3pm. Sunday, join us for a major culinary event: Paella cooked over open flame in a giant cast iron pan on our outdoor BBQ pit!

The snow is here, the skiing is great, the chili is on, and Donnie can’t wait to see you! See you at HQ!!
